"I remember when"

 

Hawth Show

On the 4th March 2007 Kate and Amanda danced at the Hawth Theatre in Crawley, with the Caroliners, representing Modern Line Dancing. The Show was a compilation of different styles of dance, performed by groups from the area.  Our theme was Heaven and Hell,  and the performance went very well.  It gave us a fantastic opportunity to show people it is not all about cowboy hats and thigh slapping.  Here are a few pictures.

Starliners 1st Birthday Social.

Starliners celebrated their 1st Birthday in February 2007.   A party was held to celebrate and Starliners members had a fantastic time with food, dancing and, of course, birthday cake!!!!.

 

 

Out and About

Kate and Amanda took a group of their dancers along to the BeaverCreek Social held in Broadfield, Crawley.  Chris and Roy were the perfect hosts , and gave everyone a fantastic evening.  We hope to be going along again soon.

Summer Social 2006

The scene was set and it was one of the hottest days of the year, but that did not stop anyone from having a great night of Fun and Dancing.    The evening began with a few absolute beginner dance's to get everyone on the dance floor where they amazed their partners and friends with the moves that they had learnt in Class.

A fish and chip supper was delivered, and after everyone had enjoyed their meal, we had a Surprise Guest Teach, who got everyone onto the dance floor (even the non dancers) and we had great fun in doing the 'electric slide', contra, with amazingly not too many crashes.

The evening continued with lots of favourite dances, such as Coastin', Hooked on Country and Waltz Across Texas.  No one wanted to leave when it was time and they all just wanted one more.   So after a Cowboy Strutt, to Achy Breaky Heart, it was time to say goodbye, until next time..........
